Mark Amarant
Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Mark Amarant founded STS Telecom and has served as the Company's CEO since 1994 where he has been responsible for the company's strategy and overall operations.  He began his telecommunications career in 1987 with Teltec, a Florida based long distance communications company, where he received the President's club award for outstanding sales performance during the years from 1987 to 1989.  Mr. Amarant was also a sales executive with Southtel, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida from 1989 to 1992, and consistently ranked as one of the company's top sales executives.  In 1993, Mr. Amarant founded Saturn Communications, Inc. the predecessor company to STS Telecom, LLC. Mr. Amarant has had several other successful start ups including Web Wise productions and Monster Ad, respectively, which were both successfully sold in 2004.

Keith Kramer
Executive Vice President

Keith Kramer is the Executive Vice President of STS and his duties include all legal and regulatory issues, business planning, network design and implementation. Prior to joining STS in 2002, Mr. Kramer served for 10 years as a Partner and in positions of increasing responsibility with IDS Telcom, a South Florida regional communications services provider.  During his career with IDS, Mr. Kramer progressed from Director of Sales to Senior Vice President of Legal and Regulatory, and was able to negotiate numerous carrier agreements, including the first nationwide agreement for UNE-P with BellSouth. 

Mr. Kramer has testified at the public utility or public service commission's (PUCs or PSCs) on telecommunications in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, and in Washington, D.C., on the Telecommunications Act of 1996, the importance of UNE-P and competition for local service and the importance of ILEC compliance with Section 271 of the 1996 Act.  Mr. Kramer also served as Project Director for the local service implementation for both facilities based local services, and UNE-P services to end users.  Between 1999 and 2002, IDS increased their revenues from $16 million annually to $48 million primarily through the sales of local services. 

Andrew T. Silber
Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Andrew Silber has 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has held the position of COO of the Company since March 2003.  His responsibilities include all aspects of operations, commencing with the receipt of orders and continuing through the installation process and ongoing customer care.  While at STS, Mr. Silber has authored, established and documented standard operating procedures for order entry processing, provisioning, project manager oversight, service and equipment installation and continuous customer care. 

Prior to joining STS, he served as Executive Vice President and was a Director of TVC Telecom in Miami Florida, a wholesale and retail long distance carrier, from October 2001 to February 2003.  Previously, from 1998 to September 2001, Mr. Silber was Director of Sales with IDS Telcom in Miami, Florida.  Prior to IDS, he co-founded Business Advantage Group, a telecommunications consulting firm, in 1992 and served as Vice President of Operations until 1998.  Mr. Silber received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami in 1992.

Gil Cohen
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Gil Cohen is the CTO of STS, a position he has held since 2001.  He is responsible for the design, implementation and operation of STS' network architecture, the selection of all network equipment, including switches as well as the initial installation and continuous operation of the Company's equipment located at the NAP of the Americas.  Mr. Cohen is also responsible for the design and operation of the NOC and supervision of all technical personnel.
